Dear Therapist, I see you.

Dear Therapist

I see you. I see you caring for others, holding space for them to share their worries, anxieties and stress.

I see you. I see you feeling the exact same feelings that your clients bring to you, that you share in their heartache and heartbreak.

I see you. I see you worrying about your own health, your friends and family too.

I see you. I see you worrying about your finances. The fear of losing your income overnight and the worry of how long it will take to build up your once successful private practice or secure another job.

I see you. I see that despite your own suffering and hardship you continue to be there for others, offering your time and skills, a space to feel held and safe.

I see you. I see that you need to follow your own words of wisdom that you share so freely and openly… to slow down, to breathe, to take time out… to nurture and love yourself, the way you do so many others.

I see you. I see beyond the despair and pain to the hope and light that shines through, that which makes you so very you. Treasure that.

I see you.

You are not alone.
